I'm not a fan of the Olympics to start with, but this seems rather silly. I understand Matt getting the nod, since he is the current Doctor, but more particularly because he is a former athlete - it actually makes sense. David Tennant has back issues, so it's probably not a good idea for that reason alone.
I haven't heard too much about it. Is Tennant pressing for it?
I agree, it makes every sense to have Matt doing this, especially since he's the face of Cardiff right now. And yeah, with Tennant's back it's definitely not a good idea.
As far as I know, Tennant has nothing to do with it. It's just a chunk of Who fans who want to see the end of Fear Her actually happen in the real 2012 Olympics.
(And it only now hit me that I currently don't have any Matt icons. I have two with Amy, but only half an Arthur and no Matt. This needs to be rectified asap.
