The Gieke Legacy, Part 3

We begin where we left off. Chester is gaining skills for a promotion...


...while Grace is teaching little Cosmo how to walk.


She had to interrupt this because her pregnancy bump expanded in a cloud of pink pixie dust, however.


Chester, what do you think you're doing?

Chester: I've earned my skills. You can't begrudge me a little bit of fun now, can you?

You do know where that "bit of fun" might lead to, right? I'd stop that right now.


I was momentarily distracted by the sight of Adonis the Leader of the Pack rolling around dirt like a little puppy...


...and this happened.

I'm starting to suspect he does this on purpose.



As you can see, the rest of the household is very upset.


Grace did manage to witness Chester's return, though.


This makes it look like she's upset with the sight of her husband being spat out of a spaceship.

Let's have a closer look, though.


Grace: "HAHAHAHAHAHA that was HILARIOUS!"

Ah, true love.


Chester: It's not funny. I feel queasy and my butt hurts.

And I heard chimes. Again.


Aliens: "Tee-hee."


With these two being Knowledge sims with three bolts, the hilarity tragedy situation was brushed aside with a little serenading.


Right, and a little bit of that as well.



The following morning, Chester decided to focus on his first alien offspring by helping him to the potty and resume Grace's work from the previous day.


Grace meanwhile had a little extra lie-in, as pregnancy and staying up with the abduction were tough on her.


Success!


Chester: "Uhhhh I think I might be pregnant!"

Gee, you think?


Grace: "Yay, it's snowing!"

The first snow of the year is so light it won't even accumulate on the windowsill, but Grace is still excited.


She received a notification that her downtownie friend Owen Birdwhistle (mikexx2) was missing her and wanted to chat, so she made a phone call...


...and Owen was so happy she decided to give Grace a present!


And not just any present, but a flat screen TV! I immediately placed it in the spare room with the chair Grace had in her inventory, as it would be the perfect spot for Chester to develop his Film & Literature OTH.


Meanwhile, some drama was taking place outside.


Grace then began to teach Cosmo how to talk...


...while Chester watched a film.


Cosmo: "Mama!"

Grace: "Yes, sweetie, I am your mama. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!"


The head of Film & Literature (from the batch of Hobby Mavens created by meetmetotheriver) showed up to invite Chester to the club. Understandably, I was surprised to see her face paint.


...And then, THIS happened.


I was very worried when I restarted the game. Thankfully, I had saved things earlier than I remembered and only lost a few sim hours. Chester was still pregnant, and was still teaching Cosmo how to walk.



I had Grace call Owen Birdwhistle again, but sadly this time she got a raise rather than a TV screen.


It's not a big deal, because Chester is quite happy to merely read - and if he wants a TV, I'll buy it. They have plenty of money, after all.


Grace is once again teaching Cosmo to talk.


And the club lady stopped by again.

Chester: "Hold on, let me put this back on the shelf."


Club lady: "It's nice to see you again."

Chester: "'Again'? Where did we meet before?"

Club lady: "Never mind. Welcome to the club!"


He then had the urge to build a snowman...


...and then raised his body temperature and soothed his aching pregnant body with a comforting bubble bath.


And then his many playful points kicked in.

Chester: "BLUBLUBLUBLUBLUB!"


One big happy family.


Apollo called grandma Grace again to complain about how disgusting all women in the neighbourhood are.


Aww.


Again, one big happy family.


And suddenly, the happy family got even bigger.


Chester: "Oh my, so that's how it looks like!"


And Grace immediately slammed her baby against the window!


Thankfully (and miraculously) the little girl was fine, and Grace handed her to Chester...


...to give birth to a second girl. Both have S1 skin, with Grace's brown hair and Chester's dark blue eyes.


As I've mentioned in my previous post, I'm doing the Ron & Hermione naming rule, which means both girls will be given names beginning with the letter C like their father. (Alien babies will be given names with the same letter as their human parent regardless of gender.)


Poor Claire is immediately placed on the floor...


...so that Chester can pay attention to her big brother.


I wonder if this means Chester wants more green babies, or is it's just a Knowledge Sim thing.


If it's the former, though, he doesn't need to worry about Grace's potential abduction, as another green baby is on its way!
